Long Grain White Rice |
Humayun Trading, the rice mill-owner, rice exporter and rice supplier is engaged in supplying the low priced, high volume rice i.e Long Grain White Rice (Irri-6). This variety is grown in the Sindh province of Pakistan and is a major export quality to a number of Middle Eastern and African Ports.
It is classified as long grain rice having the length of grain between 5.70 mm to 6.80 mm. It is non-aromatic variety. When cooking its elongation ratio is lower than all the other-mentioned varieties. Thickness is observed in the grains on cooking. It is the cheapest quality of rice in Pakistan.

Long Grain White Rice Irri-6 is the non-basmati variety that does not carry aroma while this type is high in demand at all times due to its affordable pricing, usage and quick bulk sales. This long grain variety is the second to Irri-9 and is generally supplied in bulk shipments mostly to Middle East and African regions.
